With the give away over... back to normal with some pure and simple images. Just the way I like them. I had this images in a folder I called Wabi Sabi.... I wanted to explore it a bit more and find more pictures like the ones on here. But seeing so many posts lately about Wabi Sabi I thought I just show you these pictures.I do think my way of living and decorating my home could fit the Wabi Sabi philosophy that in just a few words is ....The art of finding beauty in imperfection... it values simplicity, uncluttered, underplayed, and modest surroundings.
Nu de Give Away weer achter de rug is gaan we weer terug naar de essentie van dit blog....met een paar mooie simpele foto's zoals ik ze het liefs zie. Deze foto's komen uit een mapje op mijn PC dat ik Wabi Sabi had genoemd... ik wilde het nog een beetje verder onderzoeken en nog meer van dit soort eenvoudige foto's vinden. Maar met alle blogs die al over Wabi Sabi hadden geschreven vond ik het een beetje achter de feiten aan lopen. Dus laat ik vandaag gewoon deze foto's zien.
Toch denk ik dat mijn manier van denken en inrichten wel bij de term Wabi Sabi past , hetgeen in een paar woorden ... de kunst van het mooie zien in het imperfecte, eenvoud, vrij van rommel, simpel en zonder al teveel opsmuk betekend...

Dit past inderdaad goed bij jou...het hoeft niet perfect te zijn maar kan in eenvoud al zoveel uitstraling hebben!

mooi alleen die eerste..die kast...ik moet er niet aan denken om die schoon te maken , veel te druk voor mij en te onpraktisch

Eigenlijk begin ik die combinaties van licht en donker, van natuurlijke materialen en met wat design erbij enz. steeds mooier te vinden.
Je laatste berichtje met ´stomme foto´s´ heb ik niet helemaal begrepen. Maar de ELLE´s heb ik inderdaad, ik koop ze ook bijna elke maand. Bij het nummer van deze maand zat ook een apart blad met Belgisch design, maar ik weet niet of we het over dezelfde ELLE-edities hebben?

Oh prachtig!!! Inderdaad puur en simpel! Eenvoud siert nietwaar!
Axel Vervoordt heeft in zijn kasteel ook een kamer ingericht in de Wabi Sabi stijl! Mooi hoor! het is een mediatieruimte geworden met heel veel hout zoals een dode boomstronk uit zijn eigen tuin. Volgens de Wabi Sabi wordt een "dood" stuk een nieuw leven gegeven en dat kun je dus ook doen met zo iets in je interieur te plaatsen!

I have never heard of Wabi Sabi...but in the way you describe it, sounds like style that I like. I can't keep up with all the names they put on things...like I just recently learned what nordic is....but have admired that style most my life. Funny, huh? I am a simple girl...keeping it simple.
