We finally have a bit of summer weather here in the Netherlands, and I enjoyed some lazy hours reading at the beach this week. There's nothing better than stopping at the bookshop at the train station and heading to the beach with a bag full of brand new magazines.
I don't read many books, and it's been years since I finished a novel. On the other hand, you can find magazines in every corner of my house. In my latest blog post for the IKEA Family Live site I take you on a little home tour and show you where I keep them.

Good to see your inventive ideas about storing magazines. I understand completely how hard it is to let go of favorit ones, and in a way it is good..just this afternoon I looked through a pile of magazines dating back to 1919 that I found in France recently. It is great to see the styles, the fashions, the lace patterns and all that was the order of the day then..so that is a good thing that they were kept and for me to covet almost 100 years later! vriendelike groete van Suid Afrika

Love this post, Desiree. I do have also stacks of magazines, although I have to keep it limited due to restricted place. But I like some stylish piles that I use as a sort of "furniture" , too:-)

Well, it was only up until recently that my sister had EVERY copy of Country Living since it began !!!!.....that was in 1978 !!
