Giveaway - Win a notebook star from Ali lamu

Today you will have the chance to win one of these notebooks, we are giving away 3 of them! The notebooks are handmade from old sailcloth and painted in the mood of the motion by local fishermen in Kenia.

With less fish in the sea it is getting harder to feed their families. Being used to repair the sails of their boats in a traditional way, they now produce accessories from old canvas parts to earn some extra income for their families.

The books are A5 sized and multifunctional, they are coming with a notebook. In case your notebook is full you can still use the cover for your 2013 calendar or Moleskine. On the front you will find a black star and on the back written ‘ follow your star ‘ Ali lamu also has a great collection of bags, cushions, aprons and bedcovers. Win een notebook star van Ali lamu

We verloten er 3! Deze notebooks zijn hand gemaakt van oud zeildoek en beschilderd in the mood of the motion door de plaatselijke vissers in Kenia. Zij kunnen op dit moment steeds minder vis uit de zee halen en hebben dus voor hun families steeds minder te eten. Ze zijn gewend de zeilen te herstellen op een ambachtelijke wijze. 

Met de productie van deze accessoires hebben ze meer inkomsten en kunnen daardoor beter hun families onderhouden. De maat is A5 en multifunctioneel te gebruiken, ze worden geleverd met een gelinieerd boekje, maar heb je deze helemaal vol geschreven dan kun je gerust de cover gebruiken voor je agenda van 2013 of een mooi ongelinieerd moleskine boekje er weer in schuiven !
